After the usual suspects (delete cookies, clear cache) I am able to enter E-mail and password but sign in unsuccessful:
Anyone else? Any ideas/suggestions? This has been going on since around the same time Flash updated to ver 17.0.0.134 but IE also ver 17.0.0.134 and I am able to successfully sign in w/ Ex-PLODE-r.

Well it would be worth checking that you can sign in using another browser and if not - try signing in from another machine or device. If the problem is just on your machine then my suggestions include:
Backup FF profile folder and profile.ini to another location. Backup your profile again using MozBackup.
Perform a "Refresh" of Firefox. If that doesn't work:
Fully remove Firefox including deleting any leftovers. Once removed check again for leftovers. Then use the flash player removal tool and also remove any flash player leftovers. The removal tool doesn't remove everything.
Then reboot and run Ccleaner or similar. Then Fresh install Firefox and install the Flash Player version for plugin based browsers. Test to see if you can log in.
If it works run MozBackup to restore only your bookmarks and extensions.
If it doesn't work check your Hosts file and any other software that might interfere with browsing. Change DNS Lookup provider and flush the DNS resolver cache.
If you think any of the above will help and need more specific information - let us know.
Other Firefox variants that you could test that use their own profile include CyberFox and PaleMoon.

All I know is Microsoft uses allot of cookies and way too much java script.
Just feel lucky you didn't get the now famous "Call us overprotective" screen asking to send you a verification code to access your email or simply log into Microsoft community
I'm almost ready to dump ms all together.

@Callender "Well it would be worth checking that you can sign in using another browser
IE11 I am able to sign in & post; From my OP: "I am able to successfully sign in w/ Ex-PLODE-r."
Some of what you suggest I've already done w/ some additional tests; I first tried FFox in "safe" mode (Addons etc disabled) same result. I then flushed DNS also release/renew. No joy. Rolled back to FFox 36.0 no joy. I'll try the Flash Player uninstaller/cleanup/ re-install before the MozBackup but not gonna do the refresh yet; rather I have a fresh 7 VM (for testing Updates, software etc.) that I'll clean install and restore the backup.
I'll definitely look into CyberFox and PaleMoon.
@ PhoneMan: Thx, see above.
@ThrashZone: LMAO, actually I DID receive one of those BEFORE this started.
Typical Micro$lop: If it don't need fixin, break it!

It's really way to easy to activate the annoyance in your email account
Just click on gear or account image and hit the account settings listing
That will activate the spin loop
I don't use a cell number via text and that's what Microsoft is insisting on and staying signed in so they can track like Google has for years.
So if you have any script blocking add-ons disable them.

Just did a more thorough cleaning, removing everything associated with Microsoft.com (blogs, technet, msdn, one-drive, social etc..) and signed in no problem Marking as solved, +Rep
Still gonna check out Cyberfox & Palemoon.

Good deal,
Last I checked there were about 8 cookies Microsoft installs or needs to install
I can't remember which browser I used in Linux to see them Chrome or Firefox but it's way too many for a simple login
Microsoft is getting very fishy with it's tracking
Disabling java script in Firefox I believe will beak every Microsoft website in half
Cheers.
