Cant start my pc

Just came over this site and desided to ask about a solutionto my problem. For two years ago I bought parts to a computer with help from a friend.
I lost my interest and didnt use it in a year.

Early this year I wanted to try and use it a little more and I ran into some problems. I couldn't start it. Im not good with computers so I searched around online and found the "f8, start in safe mode" thing. And it worked. But I still couldn't find a solution to get my computer to start normally.

Today I tried again. Now I cant even get into safe mode. When I press f8 I get into a blue menu ( Please Select boot device). When I try to press f5 then f8, the Startup Repair comes and Im back where I started.

Any advice?

First thing I would do is open it up and replace the flat battery on the mobo and then start it up into the bios and reset date and time and general settings.

How do I know if the battery is flat? And how do I change it? Haha. Sorry..

Place the Win7 disk in the drive, reboot and tap the key given on first screen for Boot Menu, trigger the disk to boot to run a Startup Repair.
