Cant start programs

Hi i have windows 7 32 unltimate and when i start windows i seem to be able to start only 1 program correctly, after no other programs will start properly, when i look at task manager the program i have tried to start after the first one apear but with only using 64 or 68k of memory. Does anyone know what the problem might be?, can anyone help.

Fiill out your specs as suggested above and then take a memory test
Download memtest86 and test RAM
www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
Run for 8 passes
If it passes try a good stick in each slot for 3 passes
If it fails do the same for 8 passes.

Are you getting any error messages when you try to run them?

If so, could you post back with the complete error message, or screenshot of it?
