I would like to unsubscribe from one SevenForums thread. I get notifications of new postings to that thread by email, along with a link that says, 'To unsubscribe from this thread, please visit this page:' [and the url].

But when I click it (or copy and paste into the address bar), I get a page saying 'An invalid threadid or forumid was specified.'

I can't find any other way to unsubscribe from just one thread (I want to keep my others alive). Could someone please tell me how to do it?

Thanks,

Mary

Hi

Thanks for the useful information--at least I now know where to look.

However, the thread isn't in my UserCP subscription list.

As for thread tools: It's a Tutorial thread, “User Folders – Change Default Location” by Brink, and there aren't thread tools as such. But there are Tutorial Tools. Under that menu is an item: 'Subscribe'!

That seems to explain why the 'unsubscribe' link in emails doesn't work. It's as if I'm not subscribed. Yet I am subscribed, because I quite often receive emails notifying me of new posts to the thread.

Do you think that if I subscribe and then unsubscribe, the emails would stop? Or would I just get two emails every time?

M

I've just re-subscribed and unsubscribed. I hope it works. In the meantime, thanks for your help.
