When I click on a video in Facebook, I'll get the webpage surrounding the viewing screen, but I don't get a black screen to see the video on.

YouTube videos work just fine.

I'm using MSIE 11.0 and Windows 7 Professional with Service Pack 1 on an HP desktop PC.

Googled this problem and tried a couple of suggestions, one dealing with an accelerator setting in MSIE and another with a Facebook account setting and neither worked. Problem stayed the same.

Would so like to see videos again. Please help.

Thanks,

Vernon Moeller

Which other browsers do you have installed ?
Is Chrome one of them ?
If so Gear symbol on the top right and Manage add-ons,
Make sure your set to Show all add-ons/ bottom left,
See if you have a BHO chrome add-on/ disable it so,
Also see if Right clicking the Black video screen and click on Settings/ Drag the slider to the right.
Make sure EPM is not activated,

Sorry for my delayed response. I have a few days off now, so I have more time to look into this.

I installed the beta version of flash, but I see no difference.

To my knowledge, I do not have MSIE Chrome installed on my desktop. Whenever I install any software, I am very careful to uncheck the boxes in small print that install stuff I don't want, like Chrome.

Thanks for your help. Hope y'all have a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, et al.
