..tis ALL I've done inside a PC. I was lucky..took quite some time. I saw the slot but I needed to get the metal strip out so the ports could be exposed and usable.

I still have the box. Leadtek WinFast TV2000 XP. It was some bundle box..around $50 total off of newegg.

I lost the damn CD with necessary drivers..xtra crap. I tried their site and I would error. I got 0NE reply once when I tried to contact Leadtek about the issue and I never got any more support.

I had no idea how much I could've done. Yet it was bad. I was on Win XP, in Movie Maker. The screen was tiny as heck to look in and play while recording.

I just wanted to look into capture cards now and see if they're easier to manage, and use. I'm no quality freak, as long as it works and is the least bit clear. I go with .wmv a lot.

The only use was composite cables. Yellow, red & white cables. I needed a Y Splitter I think ? For my old Leadtek card. Without the Y splitter it would've been mono, one port of sound. With it I had red and white ports and it was perfect. But yeh, tiny screen I was bearing with. I just need to look @ stuff and consider how I use my upcoming pay. Thanks much !
