capture the file url

How do I get the url to a file via Windows Explorer? (I need to be able to send the url via messenger to another user on the same network).
For example, I want to be able to get the url for a file called "Test.txt" that is stored in a folder called "testFolder" directly on a shared G:\\

If that doesn't work, in Windows Explorer, click the address bar and copy that, however this is only the folder and you need to manually add the file name.
