I installed the RC 64 bit with no problems onto my ASUS M50Vm with 4GB DDR2, 2.53 dual core, 320 GB HD, nVidia GeForce 9600 GS. However, it doesn't seem to think my graphics card exists. I tried to update drivers, but it won't let you update drivers for a device you don't have. I went into device manager and the card is not under display adapters. So i thought maybe it's in the unknown section. Not there either. Just to be sure I went back into Vista and checked which PCI slot the card is in, and went back in to the RC and nothing in the device manager is in that slot. Any help would be appreciated.

I would try reseating the video carfd and making sure that all necessary power connecter are connected.

question, if it doesn't see your video card what is displayed under the video adapters in the device manager? How are you seeing video?

All the power is good and it's seated. I know this b/c im doing a dual boot, and when I go back into Vista it shows up in device manager under display adapters. It displays Standard VGA Graphics Adapter in device manager. However I know it's not using the card because it can't even run solitaire smoothly. I think the problem is the driver, but when I tell it to check for new drivers it says it's up to date. And when I tried downloading them off of nVidia's site, it said they couldn't install because it couldn't find any drivers that were compatible with my current setup. But I downloaded the 64 bit Window 7 ones. The good news is that in the device manager the Standard VGA adapter shows up in the same PCI slot which my card is in.

Good news, I finally got it to work. Instead of downloading the large driver pack of nVidia webiste 186.18, I used the tool on the Latest nVidia Drivers post. Then I was able to select the correct card series number. One question I have though is that since this is a mobile card, it might be specific to Asus? So if I use the nVidia driver could that cause the cooling to not work with Asus set up? Or am I just paranoid.
