K im not to lean on computer graphics cards so have a question to find out if im being taken by evga. I have a 9800 gx2 ssc that one of the gpu's died on me so I RMA'd it, I had product # 01G-P3-N897-AR but it looks like they shiped out product # 01G-P3-1281-AR which i look up as a GTX 285, Im not sure about shader clocks and the whole bit. Did they send me a considerable card? A worse card? or a better card? Thanks for help, new to forums. nice layout.

It's better in some categories, worse in others. It's a little worse overall.

Wrong way of looking at it. Higher numbers in the specs do not always equate to a faster card. He had a dual card (higher power requirements and more heat) to a single card (lower power requirements and less heat), with the single card being as fast or faster in most cases,

He also went from a card that got very little support from Nvidia (they have a bad habit of this with their GX2 cards, just ask anyone that had the 7900 GX2), to a card that should receive support for quite a long time (as in proper driver support).
