You try to easy tranfer from one machine to another? is it thru a router? if not you will need a null modem (crossover cable) I am not sure that importing from one machine to another is really a good idea. You will be importing data that is specific to the other machine and not the one you are importing it to

computer to computer no router to transfer video files i have both hooked up now an the transfer is running at 99% of 100mbps but it falls to 0 alot so would the transfer cable like belkins do better?

Bliar, if you have gigabit nics a cat 6 cable would get you a bunch more speed.

Actually, Cat 5e handles gigabit connections to their full potential so that's cool.
