I've just had 4 days of work flushed down the cyber toilet...
Spent an entire day customising and tweaking, such as login backgrounds, desktop backgrounds, rebranding, start orb change etc...
Then the next few days loading all the software.
Then sysprep comes along and fails, saying something along the lines of 'Windows cannot continue configuring your system. Will resume after reboot.'
Reboot and same message.

I dont have much time to further test the specific reason, but I'm led to believe its got something to do with changeing ownership of some files in the c:\windows folder and subfolders to do customising, that sysprep cant touch anymore because the owner is not 'trusted installer'

So just a word of caution, hoping this could help you avoid similar issues.
