Hey everyone, new to Seven Forums, I'm here because of a rather frustrating issue I am dealing with.
I have a windows 7 computer with An ATI Radeon HD 5670 Video Card.
I haven't had any issues with the Catalyst Control Center up until now.
I loaded up a game of Mass Effect 1, which I had played about two months ago with no isssue what so ever; and I noticed the graphical quality was so bad compared to before. I double checked the options>settings>Graphics and everything was set to Ultra High like the last time I had played it. But the shadowing looked like crayon marks and the facial hair looked like dirt smudges. Very awkward. So I decide to load up the CCC to play around with the settings there and see where the issue was. Then I notice CCC isn't running, AND whenever I try to open it, (the half of the time it DOES run) it will within seconds crash giving me this message: Catalyst Control Center stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
Ok lol Well that does not work. I looked up methods to fix this, ie Downloading the latest Drivers and CCC version, I uninstalled them and reinstalled them nothing works, same crash message. I tried this guys method, but alas there was no "90ba9c70f846762e" token there to delete in the first place. So I ruled that out as a solution.
I'm at a loss of ideas on how to solve this and am open to alternative ideas. Id rather have a good community help out versus break something that may not be broken further.
Thanks in advance for any help,
~Rager
