hi, im having trouble with my crap cleaner. it stops while cleaning either windows temp or log files. just locks up and even bombs out my whole system to where i have to restart. tried turning off the temp files and noticed that i need to clean them anyway because it was a substantial amount less and it locked up on the win log files anyway.
was considering uninstalling ccleaner and reinstalling. if i need to a good clean malware free link would be much appreciated because it was either this or gimpshop that came with a intrusive virus like nightmare i dont remember wich.
all i have done latley is download a bunch of games and some software from steam. dont see why that would matter though. also disabled bitdefender for a bit. got over a gig of crap on there and would like to get this going agian so i can make a fresh system restore point. any help would be greatly appreciated.

- - windows 7 updates are COMPLETLY disabled. they bog down my system and have had real virisuses that were less trouble.
uninstalled and reinstalled and it works agian. however the little pop up that tells you you need to run ccleaner came up and said i had 3.1 gigs that needed cleaning . but once i ran it from the reinstall it only cleaned 484 mb ? wondering where the other 2.5 ish gigs ran off to. thanks. will also check out malwarebytes.
