Is wondering how to get manual control over the cd drive door.
Whenever I burn files to a cd, in windows 7, after they are burned, the cd drive
door opens, like it is telling me to eject the cd, but I've got more files to burn.
So, then I have turn around and push the cd button on computer and start
the search and file burning all over again.
Isn't there some way to be able to control the cd door manually?
TIA

well im not sure what your using but if its media player right click near the bottom and under the tools section select options , select the burn tab then uncheck "automatically eject the disk after burning"

all burning software has this option somewhere in its settings

Oh, thank you, thank you for asking your question, Oregonport! This has been annoying the heck out of me, too, as my pc sits in a computer desk with a door that covers it up. When the tray auto ejects, it sometimes bangs into the desk door if I accidentally bump the door closed with my knee. I'm soooooo glad I saw this thread! I now know how to turn this auto-eject feature on/off in WMP. :)
