CDex Beta 4 is out!

After being stalled for 2 years, CDex came back to life in the middle of November with two consecutive betas.

Beta 4 changelog (according to me & what I've read, haven't been able to find an actual changelog).
-> Fixed C++ Redistribuable bug in installer from beta 3
-> New Hybrid installer that includes over 40 languages, multiple versions & unicode & non-unicode versions.
-> Options menu has been re-arranged
-> New encoders
-> Encoders updates
-> Bug fixes

There's still no 64-bits... for those who wanted one.
Anyway, I always liked CDex better than the rest because I probably grew attached to it since I first used it back in the years of my Celeron 700MHz... So, no EAC for me. I actually don't care.

I've used CDex for 5 years at least and knew it was not being updated, but it still seemed to work fine on Vista. I don't think I've tried to use it on Win 7. I don't recall any bugs on Vista.

Have you confirmed if older versions or the betas work fine on Win 7 32 bit?

Yes, they work. 1.7 beta 2 was working fine on Windows 7. Now with 1.7 beta 4 it brings a sure compatibility.

Also, I've ran into a problem with beta 2 lately... the CD stops spinning in the drive so CDex stops responding and crash. Even a force close won't make the process disapppear. Don't know why but I know that my RC is becoming old end that I need the RTM soon. It could only happen to me. So, don't stop using it because of my problems
