Change BIOS to RAID-ON without buggering up Windows 7?

Well, changing the registry entry from 3 to 0 didn't work. But I gave RAIDfix a go, turned RAID on, and it booted fine. Downloaded and installed Intel Rapid Storage Technology, and rebooted. Now all's working perfectly! Thanks all!

@JK: That's ok. If you wouldn't have panicked me like that, I wouldn't have moved fixing it up in my list of priorities and it would have waited a week anyways, it's one in the morning here, and I'm up at 7, so night all!

UGH! I searched here first, but all I could remember was: "Enable Intel ICH RAID After Installing Windows". Are you able to add those words to your tutorial? Or make it a sub search? Link search? So I can find it next time???

yeah it would be pretty useful if all those tutorials included the work RAID in the title... but at any rate I think enough people searching will be directed here and follow on to RAIDfix... I like this forum
