Hi - I'm hoping someone can help. I have one computer with five users. My user is the admin and the other users are not. I have changed the date format under my user - but cannot do the same for the other users. I get the message to contact the system administrator. How do I get around this? I need all of the users to have the same, specific date format. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

Thanks for your reply Benjy206. However, I cannot find the file local security policy window. I checked in the System 32 folder and I have no such file as secpol.msc. Can you help me with this? Thanks a bunch!

I do not have a Local Security Policy in my Admin Tools. I also did a search of my C drive and could not find it.

Put you mouse over computer in start menu. Right click and select manage. Should be within that window

I solved it. I just made everyone an administrator, changed the date format and then changed them back to a standard user. It worked just fine. Not sure why I didn't think of it before LOL!! THANK YOU very much for all of your help! I appreciate it very much!
