Precision M4400 - Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
This webcam requires Windows Media Player (and Silverlight) in order to display on my screen, however it is happily displaying via VLC.
The RSPB: Loch Garten: Live video webcam
Please advise how I can make the cam display with WMP instead of VLC. WMP has all its defaults, so why is the cam using VLC? I don't know the file-type that would have to be changed.
(The reason I want to do this is that the browser, Opera 12.16, auto-refreshes periodically to counter stream-freezes, and currently it takes at least 7 seconds for the picture to recover. I'm hoping it might be faster with WMP, at least I need to find out one way or the other.)

but with a tiny glitch if I'm not)? But now that I'm using the RSPB site instead of the Carnyx one, I'm stuck with the VLC cone for too long before the stream reappears - that's what led to my original question "how can I associate it with WMP?".
