Change icons

Can I change the icon for certain external drives?

I have a portable hard drive with several partitions and I want to change their icons, different partition for different icons

it seems like it changes the icon depends on the drive letter...

but, i use multiple hard drives. each hard drive is used for specific functions.
i need to change the icons so i can know which hard drive is being used.

i'm interested in the usage of autorun.inf
can you explain how to use it?
does it applicable to hard drives? as i know, autorun.inf is used on usb drives...
