Hello,

I would like to change the default directory (Librairies\Documents) which shows up when opening a file browser from a third party software (most 3d party softwares at least).
It also show up when opening a new explorer from C:\Windows\explorer.exe directly. So I think there is some option to change in the registry or in an .ini file but I can find no info on it.

NB:
I am well aware that similar posts exist (all over the web) and that the "solution" is to change the target directory in the Start Menu or launch bar shortcut: this is not what I want. I tried it (out of curiosity mostly) and, predictably, it has no effect on the explorer.exe executable and therefore none on the third party softwares.

Thank you for answering but no, it does not help.

In fact it is the very tutorial I spoke of in my "NB" which only changes the target of the launch bar shorcut.

Well I'm not sure it is possible but it should be, probably through the modification of some registry key (but I could not find it by myself).
