change your user account plus some

I have had this pc for a couple years now and i had bought it from an individual.It at one time had windows vista ultimate 64bit and was upgraded to windows 7 ultimate 64bit.I do not have a CD program to repair the system.

My problem is i have 3 accounts registered and i am the administrator.The other 2 are user accounts.I use to awhile back be able to access the "change your user account,Change your account type,and manage another account" feature.I cannot for some reason any more,i click the short cuts and nothing happens.I tried searching the net and didn't find anything that could help me out.

If i click the "manage your account type" function i get a Credential manage error....

Any help is much appreciated.....thanks

The accounts were deleted i thought when i got it,All i did was add me and the other three with know problems.I was able to access them for some time with know problems until recently.I have had this pc for at least 2 years now.I was able to access all accounts with know problems for at least 1 1/2 of those years.

Quite clearly your account is corrupt.
I would try first:
Create a new administrator account that should work.
If it does not work, try the hidden administrator

I did the hidden administrator account and still have the same issue.Any more ideas to help me with?

As you are not able to fix the accounts even with the hidden administrator, I suggest you to have clean install of the windows 7.

If you know the serial no. for windows 7 ultimate, better note it down on a paper. Otherwise download Speccy (freeware)from Piriform website. This program will show you your windows serial no. As your serial no. is for Windows 7 Ultimate, go only for Ultimate. This serial no. does not work for other windows 7 versions.

Take a backup of your datafiles. You can either borrow a windows install CD from your friends or search for a Windows 7 iso download on net download it and burn on a DVD.

There are many good tutorials on this forum for reinstalling windows 7. Select the one appropriate for you. Good Luck...
