I have Shrink 3.2 in program files x86, this program uses Nero 7 to burn dvd's, I want to use Shrink 3.2 modified to use IMGBurn to burn the dvd's, the instructions tell me to delete the original shrink 3.2 files in x86 & replace them with the modified shrink 3.2 files, I have the modified files on the desktop.
So do I just delete the original files in x86 then just drag the modified files from the desktop & drop them into the the x86 program files??
Thanks

Welcome to Seven Forums bushy1. Based on what you have told us, I'd say yes. They are likely files with the exact same name, so the program will just use the new files. Post a link to the instructions if you'd like us to confirm 100%. A Guy

I don't believe there will be any issues. They are not system files. Just make sure you delete the correct files (save them in a folder if you are unsure), and then either drag the new files to the programs folder, or copy and paste them. Assuming the new files will have the exact same names as the originals, and are not corrupted in any way, the program will just use the new files as it always did. A Guy

Hi AGuy, Will try this.

Add ImgBurn to DVD Shrink

One of the best DVD burning programs that currently exists is ImgBurn, made by the developer of DVD Decrypter (known online as LightningUK!) after that project ended. Best of all, it's freeware. Yes, a free program is outperforming commercially developed applications that routinely sell for $50-100 or more.

To add ImgBurn burning to DVD Shrink, download the files below, and then follow these three easy steps:
  1. Install ImgBurn from the setup file.
  2. Install DVD Shrink from the setup file.
  3. Go to the DVD Shrink folder where the program was installed, and replace the DVD Shrink 3.2.exe with the one in the attached mod file.
    • On Windows XP or 32-bit Windows versions, look in C:\Program Files\DVD Shrink
    • On Windows Vista 64 or Windows 7 64-bit, look in C:\Program Files (x86)\DVD Shrink
And then you're done.

Your DVD copying workflow will be modified as such:

  1. Read a disc in another program (i.e. DVD Decrypter)
  2. Open the ISO or files from your hard drive, and transcode and/or re-author in DVD Shrink
  3. Burn using ImgBurn, as instructed from within DVD Shrink

Yes, I had found that, and you do indeed just manually replace the files. It should be very straight forward. A Guy
