Changing default location questions.

I have changed the default location of my user files to a partition, but for some reason a few of the folders duplicated and I don't know why.

Look here and you will see what fodlers have duplicated:

Is this normal?

Another thing I want to know is regarding backs up my folders and C Drive.

When I make a copy of my C Drive with Acronis, or create a back up with Windows back up will these folders be copied or will I need to back them up separately?

I also cannot delete the spare file as it says I don't have permission, and I can't seem to get permision as it can't display who the owner of the file is.

They are junction points and don't really exist, they just point to a location and they're best left alone, don't try to remove them.

You will have to create an image/backup of those as an image of just the OS will not include anything that is on another partition unless it's included in the image when it's created.

If your OS is on a different partition from the data, you will have to image both partitions. An image is always by partition. A clone can be per drive.

I used that thread and I have now restored my folders back to their original locations. I am just going to keep the folders where they are as I create quite a few back up's of my folders, so it is easier for me to create back up's if they are kept where they are.
