I'm sure this has been addressed before, but here goes anyway....

There are a lot of posts on the net about this, but no one can solve the problem yet.

When I click on the Start button, a white background appears (as well in other Win7 apps). Is there a way to change that to another color, say, a light gray, etc.? That bright white background is hard on my eyes. Seems that Micro$oft would have an easy fix for this.

Someone said that Windowblinds can do this. Anyone tried it with Win7?

With custom themes that is possible. If it is this you mean

Yep. That's nice. Is that theme in this forum somewhere? Does that default to work within the other apps as well?

In my themes after you click the all programs button it is white again. That screen is from a theme which is being released tomorrow (or saturday).

Will the new theme still make the white appear after clicking the All Programs button? I want to change the white to a darker color.
