I'm looking for a way to change a folder icon, WHILE still seeing a preview of the folder contents. I know it actually says when you change a folder icon:

"You can change the folder icon. If you change the icon, it will no longer show a preview of the folder's contents"

Not acceptable. :) I got music, movies, pictures and things on my computer, and when I browse my well organized folders, I'm quite tired of looking at those yellow folders. but on the other hand if I change the icon, I can't see the cool covers and such of the movies, music.

any program that does this? or hack or something. I have TuneUp if that helps, but even in that, if I install icon packages or such, doesn't work.

ps. if anyone from microsoft is reading this, please stop with the yellow folders or at least gives us a chance to change the colors, or preferably make it so that we can put any ico file in there we want.

Actually, you can change them with a program called Icon Packager. But, using Icon Packager will also change some other items' icons. You can download a trial here.
