I had an HP (G50-N112NR) with a bad hard drive (running Vista). I had a Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5974 with a problem with the MB (running Windows 7). Today, I switched out the HD's - putting the one from the Toshiba into the HP (the HP had the dead HD). It booted up beautifully, seems to be working fine, ran a windows update, etc. The question is: Should I expect future problems from this HD trade? Both OS were factory installed in the machines and of course, I only have a recovery disk for Win7.
