Solved Changing one adapter in an existing Bridge

Greetings.

I've got a Bridge enabled between a Ceton InfiniTV 4 adapter and a wireless adapter. This enables Network Tuner Sharing for the Ceton. I'm going to be installing a new wireless adapter to take advantage of a new router, and am wondering about the effect on the existing Bridge.

My hope is that I can simply remove the existing wireless adapter from the Bridge, uninstall it from the PC, install the new adapter, then add it to the Bridge. That begs the question: can the Bridge exist with only one adapter? If the easy path doesn't work, do I need to delete the existing Bridge? If so, should I remove both adapters from it first, delete it, then recreate it? I definitely want to use the same IPs currently assigned (the Ceton's won't have to change, fortunately).

That leads to another question: do I need to set up the new adapter with an IP, gateway, DNS, etc., before adding it to the Bridge? I'm assuming so, but curious. Since the wireless adapter is part of the Bridge, I don't see any of its settings (ipconfig /all only shows the Bridge's settings). I definitely need to set up Advanced config stuff on it.

Thanks.

I'll answer my own question. It was dead simple. Just removed the old adapter from the Bridge, disabled it, uninstalled it + drivers via Device Manager, installed new adapter, set it up as a standalone NIC, tested speeds, added it to the existing Bridge, et voila! Didn't even have to redo Network Tuner Sharing on the client PC. Just gave the new NIC the old IP, and *boom* live TV :-)
