hello.
i have a computer with 2 users on it.
i want to share the scans in this computer to other computers on the network.

instead of sharing each user pictures folder.
i created a folder on the local drive D: called SCAN
and shared it.

now i want that the scanned files will go there automatically
but didn't found a way to do this.

how can i change it? thanks.

What're you scanning from? This seems to specifically be a software/hardware related question relating to your scanner.

Would play around with the software in the first instance to see where its going or alternative consult your manual/google

I've had to set this up at work.

The computer that you are scanning to (The one with the shared folder) Should have the scanner driver on it. If it's a HP Scanner, there is a program called HP Scan.

If you find this, open it up and you will see a list of different options. PDF, E-mail etc. For each scan type, click advanced options and you will be able to set the destination to the shared folder :)

If you let me know the brand of scanner I may be able to assist further

thanks for the replies guys.

the scanner is Canon Pixma MG2150.
i'm using the windows fax and scan feature.

i didn't download any software for it, windows 7 detected and installed the drivers.
maybe i should look for their software and see if there is more options.

Definitely don't rely on the windows drivers for it. Go to the Canon website and see if you can download the actual software and drivers for it.
