At the moment, I have an ongoing problem where - if I click on any kind of "Browse for folder" radio button, the whole thing hangs - and stops responding.

I have tried numerous things but it still does it. I will eventually be formatting - but not for a few months yet, so this will hopefully sort it out.

Also I think it defaults to My Documents ?? Which I never use, as I store everything on my second HDD, so have to navigate there anyway.

Therfore is there a way I can change the path it defaults to when I click "Browse for folder" so it goes straight to this Drive / Folder?

Cheers

Back up your registry

Run Regedit

Navigate to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders.

Change the Personal folder to the location where your data is stored.

Logout/in or reboot.

Note, if you disable libraries this may not work.

You may also get a warning the first time you open from here. Click on "do not display this warning again".

This will also change the pointer to Documents on your start menu.

That did not work either ??
