Solved changing the power options from the command line

I have found a method from this very site which when this command, "C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe /setactive a1841308-3541-4fab-bc81-f71556f20b4a" is attached to a shortcut icon, will change the power plan when i click on the shortcut icon. What I require to do now is somehow issue that very command from the command line, as i ultimately want it a a line in a bat file. However, the command does noting when typed at the command line. Anybody got any ideas as to how to get this to work?

You almost have it. You would just need to do it without the quotes instead.

C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe /setactive a1841308-3541-4fab-bc81-f71556f20b4a
