Changing the way icons are selected like in XP?

I just upgraded to Windows 7 from Windows XP, and one thing that irks me about Widnows 7 is the way the icons are selected. I like the way Windows XP selects icons, it looks cleaner and simpler.

Does anyoe know how to change this?

I'm unaware of any 3rd party programs to change that. It is just the way Windows 7 is designed, you can't change it from within windows. A Guy
