Solved Changing to AHCI in BIOS

Hi this might not be the correct forum but I thought i'd try anyway.

Basically i've bought a new pc and the BIOS 'American Megatrends' seems to be very difficult to try and find how to change to AHCI mode. I need to change it as im going to be installing a mac os distro.

If anyone has any experience with the BIOS software then please let me know!

Oh and here are my specs if u need them:

802.11G 54mbps PCI Wireless Network Card

Hi Scott and welcome to W7 Forums

I've had a quick look at the manual for that motherboard, and it would appear that AHCI is not supported. The only storage modes supported are RAID and non-RAID (standard default).
