No. I saw a tutorial that showed all you had to do was plug the cable line into the tuner. If that's the case how do I perform the connections with the Set Top Box?
Sorry about that. I think I have it figured out. These new boxes use HDMI as the out source. Unlike the older ones where you had a cable in as well as a cable out in the back, this one I have now only has cable in. I have to go back to Time Warner and see if I can get a box as described above to hook the cable out to the tuner.
Ok got the box I wanted and everything went well. Couple of oddities though. Why aren't some of the channels matching up. I tuned to channel 4 when Barbar was on and I get a different show. Also NY1 was on a whole different channel. I'm also experiencing "no signal" messages on a lot of the channels like ESPN. Should I scan channels again or what? Anybody else had this problem? This channel mix up is driving me crazy. I click Nick on Channel 6 on the guide to watch ICarly and I get C-Span!! What gives?
