why does my windows 32bit samsung laptop forever keep checking for updates, but never finds them ! please help

Getting a list of updates are slow these past few months.

You can set the laptop not to sleep...
...then manually check for updates
...and let the laptop keep checking for 24 to 48 hours.

It won't hurt to use the laptop during that time.
