Chrome deafult folder vs local state file?

Since nothing helps against Chrome freezes of my computer im going to test to resett the profile

Maybe this easy step will help you,

1) First of all delete the Local State file which holds some of the Custom Settings

What is the local state file? is that userdata folder? or is it a single file?

2) Rename the Default folder which has all the Google extensions, Bookmarks, History, Jumplist icons, etc. The reason why we are renaming it is because if it's not the cause of the random freezes and crashes, then we don't have to lose all this information.

Why should i rename it? if i rename it i guess the profile will immediately stop working? and it will replace the folder with a new deafult folder right?

Uninstalling Chrome doesn't remove files in the user's settings, like bookmarks, cookies, and other state. These should be in a Chrome-related folder in the user's directory. If you want to reset it back to defaults, just remove this directory and Chrome will recreate it.

if i rather than renamen...instead copy the deafult mode folder to another harddrive then delete it in Chrome folder, then copy it back as an overlay.

Will then Chrome apply all old settings that loads the previous session on startup? and that shall be of
Session Manager - Chrome Web Store
that shall be automaticly installed by just copying and replacing the new deafult folder with the old one, so that i dont need to install my apps again?
However i dont find any "session manager" install location inside "deafult folder" and no saves.
Where is it?

That would be good if i could just copy this app rather than the whole deafult folder,
if i wanna try pinpoitnt what the problem behind the freezes are
