Try disabling every one of your extensions. If that doesn't work, try disabling your plugins.

Hi MatthewHirst,

Please try the steps suggested by 'DBone' and recheck results.

It is also likely that the firewall is blocking the browser. Try to disable the firewall temporarily to see if that helps. If yes, add 'Google Chrome' in the 'firewall' and give full access to it. If any ambiguity, please share details of the 'firewall' installed in the system; will give complete steps.

Would also like to know if the issue occurs only with 'Facebook'or with every other website. Have you tried an alternate browser (Internet Explorer / Mozilla Firefox)? If not, please do so and share results.

Hope this helps. Do reply with the findings.

Good to hear. In the future, if you have an issue, always first disable your extensions and if that fixes the issue, re-enable them one at a time to find the culprit. Same goes for plugins too, but they are usually less of an issue..............Although nothing beats a re-install! :D
