Chrome incorrectly rendering sites

Well, I've been using the latest stable (normal channel) release of Chrome. All of the sudden, it started displaying certain websites wrong, such as Tumblr and Lifehacker. I don't know what caused it because I haven't changed anything recently, but now I'm using Opera. I did have extensions installed, but nothing that could have caused this.

I uninstalled Chrome with Revo Uninstaller and did a clean install and I still have the same problem (with no extensions). I even tried the Flock Browser Beta which is built on Chrome instead of Firefox. Same issue. Here are some screenshots. Any help, please? It's my favorite browser, and, although Opera is nice, I prefer Chrome's extensions over Opera's useless widget system.

In addition to baarod's short remark . Is this a default windows 7 and/or Chrome installation or have you re-skinned either of them or customized the GUI in some way?

Also check that you have the default page settings and that nothing is changed in the Chrome configuration. By the way, have you installed any new plugins or extensions recently?

Open chrome
Select the 'customize and control' (spanner) menu
Choose 'options'
Click the 'Under the hood' tab
Scroll down to 'web content'
Press the 'Reset to defaults' button.

Finally, try under a different screen size (i.e. change your screen size first, to a standard size) it would be interesting to note if it is a compatibility bug.

Reboot and let us know your progress.

Thanks Tim. Had he skinned he'd have understood. Had he not he'd likely ask ignore or ask for clarification. I'm just trying to help as many as I can in limited time!

There's "Content" and no other way to reset anything to default than to delete browsing data (cache, cookies, etc), which I've done. It never acted this way before, since Chrome is usually unaffected unless it is run with the "--no-sandbox" variable (which it wasn't). I disabled GDI++ and voila, back to normal. I love GDI++, but I had to remove it because of the exact same issues. Glad that you got it figured out, and hopefully the GDI++ team figures out a fix.

I love GDI++, but I had to remove it because of the exact same issues. Glad that you got it figured out, and hopefully the GDI++ team figures out a fix.
