Chromium Exts / Bookmarks and Sr Iron

ok - so I have SR Iron 11 on my win machine and for some odd reason it won't save new bookmarks nor will some of the extensions keep their settings - especially smooth scroll

Am I missing something under the hood like a privacy setting or something?

Is there a compatibility issue with the different chromium products?

I tried smoothscroll .9/1.0 and tried chromium wheel (which doesn't save the settings and after closing the browser I lose the ext upon reopening)

when I click on get more exts I get this page

but have also tried exts from

any ideas?

First thing that comes to mind is to run the browser as admin, set all the extensions' preferences and exit. Then start Iron normally and see of those settings hold.
