I had this problem a few months back and it's come back again. I can't remember how I fixed it the last time and it's driving me batty.

I have a Linksys WRT120N wireless router. Well it was working fine up till a few days ago when it decided to quit working. I did the network trouble shooter and it says the LOCAL AREA NETWORK has an improper IP Address.

I did the usual stuff, unplug the cable modem, unplug the router, reboot the computer, command prompt, IPCONFIG, IPCONFIG /release, IPCONFIG /renew and nothing works.

How can I get my router working again. I've been to the Cisco site so far it's been worthless.

Please help

Never mind I found one of my earlier posts and it had the solution. I have to call the cable company to reset the modem box. Phwwwwwwwwwwwwww I wish there was a way to keep this from happening all the time.
