Greetings,

WHen I try to play CoH/CoV the game stutters every 3 or 4 seconds for half a second or more... it's like it's loading something either off the HD or into video memory or something... Sometimes this doesn't happen at all and other times it's worse/stuttering more. I have updated every driver and in most cases they say that the windows 7 driver is newer and I should not "upgrade"... I've tried doing it both ways with a reformat but can't seem to find a common ground of what is causing this.

Does anyone else know of this problem? It seems when I use my express card slot (eSata controller) the problem gets worse whether i'm accessing that drive or not....

Help?

well, i cant say ive seen any lag in my games on W7..??

i do know COH has always had problems though, i gave up with my copy after the 2nd W7 build :o, i got rid of the WDDM too, try a newer driver it might null out the delay.

gleep52 , please fill in your system specs...;)

OziiX , your rig should not be stuttering..?? @ 1680x1050 your 3870 would certainly be struggling on ''high'' settings with newer games, but it should still run ''med'' settings at playable rates...

do you have the latest (compatible) catalyst driver..??
