Run Belarc Advisor to audit all of your Product Keys for Windows, Office, Works, etc.

As theog suggests, you can probably start up your existing HD in new hardware. Win7 has a huge enough driver store that it should change out most drivers at startup, requesting several restarts, then run OK. Any drivers missing afterward can be supplied from the Support Downloads webpage for the Device model.

There is a program called Paragon Adaptive Restore which will do all of this for you by booting it on new hardware, but it is a paid program.

I would remove the Product Key before you switch HD to the new hardware and then reinsert it. Activation will likely require a robocall to MS to update the Hardware signature in MS Activation computers.
