Clean Install Driver Advice

Hey Guys,

Here's my question. The computer I'm doing the clean install on is hooked up to a TV as it's only monitor. In fact, I don't even have a monitor in the house that could hook up to this computer. The other thing is that this TV is hooked up to the computer's ATI video card through HDMI.

Now, I know that I can load the ATI drivers during the install process but my main concern is that I might lose picture before I can load the drivers. If this happens, I'll be blacked out and won't be able to "advance" the install process. Is this a possibility? Or is it that when I get to the Partitioner and I choose "load driver" and point at the ATI drivers, I'll be safe the whole way through.

In other words, I'm worried that at some point in the install after reformat and before the ATI drivers are loaded by the installer I will need to "advance" the installer but won't have a display...

If I'm not being clear or if my concern isn't coming across, I'm happy to rephrase.

Thanks a lot SevenForums,
Eamon

Just this side of fast enough.
If it happens, reload the driver to see if that helps. If not, borrow a monitor.
