It seems that i can install my on the way to me windows 7 home premium upgrade onto a blank hard drive directly without installing vista first according to the tutorial i found at the top of this section of the forum. My question is what is the difference between a direct clean install onto a brand spanking new blank hard drive of windows 7 hp upgrade and installing vista first then clean install of win 7 hp upgrade afterwards?
Hopefully, that wasn't a stupid question.I'm just wondering while i wait for my new 1 TB hard drive and sound card to arrive today and win 7 home premium upgrade sometime mid week.If i can directly clean install win 7 hp upgrade with zero problems i'll just put aside my new hard drive and wait for win 7 hp upgrade to arrive.Otherwise,i can install vista via cyberpower's recovery disk onto the new hard drive and do a clean install when win 7 hp upgrade arrives.
Thanks for answering this simple question(hope it's simple anyway...).
