Clean install Win 7

Currently have PC with VISTA as OS. Would like to install Win 7 on new larger HDD. No wish to keep VISTA OS or HD. How do I do that?

Well, if you have a retail copy of Windows 7 that you purchased, then you could use the method in the tutorial below to clean install Windows 7 on the new hard drive after removing the other drives first.

When you install Win7 on the new Disk, make sure all other disks are disconnected during the installation. If you have an OEM edition of Windows 7, that will work too. Just boot from the installation DVD. The wizard will guide you.

When you are done with the installation, reconnect all disks and change the BIOS boot order to boot boot from the Win7 disk. Then you can delete the Vista partitions. You may need this program to do it. Make sure you save all your data first.
