Clean Installing On A Tablet

Hello,

I have a Tablet PC (Toshiba Protege) that currently has Windows Vista Business on it. If I clean installed Windows 7 Business onto it, would all of the functions of the laptop, such as the fingerprint scanner, ability to write on the screen, and so on, still function properly? Would there be any significant functions that wouldn't work anymore?

Some functions might not work correctly after install. You may need to install drivers. The good thing is 7 is much better at finding drivers on it's own, and if it doesn't you can install drivers from Vista. So if Toshiba has the drivers on their website or you have a disc with them you should be fine.
