I'm selling my laptop and want to wipe the drive and reinstall the OS.
I went to the MS website, but it wouldn't accept my key - I found out that I have an OEM, and that's the reason.
My question - I have the install cd from my pc and it is the same as the laptop - both win 7 pro.
Can I use that disc to do a clean install on the laptop with the laptop key?
