Cleaning an LCD screen

I thought there would be some kind of tool for that.

There is...it's called a micro fiber towel. If you fold it over to create somewhat of an edge, you can get into the corners easily.

If the gunk in the corners is really annoying you and you can't get it out, you could always pop the lcd bezel off and give it a good clean underneath I guess. Be very careful with the little screws and retaining tabs etc.

Windex on a soft cloth for the main area, and a dry (or damp) clean paintbrush (about 1/2" or 1") for the corners.

Only use Windex on GLASS monitors, do NOT use on LCD's. It will mess up the finish.

Well, I've seen the opposite experience at work. I think it depends upon what coating is on the monitor. I wouldn't recommend windex for any LCD owner.
