CleanMem, the only memory optimizer that really works !

Example of good use:
So, lets say you just used Photoshop or some huge video editing program, you would want this RAM back and windows wont de-allocate it until its needed. Then this program would be good to prompt the system to clear all the unused RAM.

Example of bad use:
If on the other hand, you are using small programs over and over again, then clearing out the unused memory could actually slow you down as it will all need to be reloaded into RAM.

^^^^ Im pretty sure these examples are correct, let me know if I am misunderstanding anything about this subject.

I think those are fair examples with a few exceptions, 1) it's not going to slow you down at least it's never done it with me. 2) Would you rather it be reloaded to disk?

IMHO there is no program that is going to over come a lack of Ram that a user will ever notice. Yes snake oil. Let Windows 7 handle the memory. If you need more Ram then just get some more ram. NO snake oil or registry tweaks; just stick more Ram in you computer.

You're probably right although some folks might be maxed out and have no way of adding more. Then there is the option of buying another PC which can allow for additional Ram but money may be a factor. Snake Oil Salesmen Were on to Something: Scientific American

Tried It

Hi,Forum.

Thought I'd chime in.:D

I used CleanMem for about two weeks and it in fact did keep my RAM dowm to about 25-30%,as compaired to a normal 35-45%.However,once in a while,I would get a "Widows Explorer Has Stopped Working And Needs To Close" notification.

I noticed that this only happened when CleanMem kicked in.I know this from monitoring the program.I never had this problem before-and since purging mt OS of this program-hasn't happened since.

I'm sure there is a proper place for CleanMem.It is not on my machine.:p

Windows seems to do a pretty good job of managing my memory.

Thanks for you time.

Peace to all.;)
