Is there a way to protect yourself from links that open a hundred pages and stop you from using your browser? I just clicked a link and the only way I could kill the problem was by totally closing the browser down from taskmanager. Is there a way to be safe? :geek:

G'Day Rolo,

I think what you are after is something that flags the bad links for you. There are several products available.

You could try Web of Trust, but I think Norton does quite a good free one......something "Lite", I think. Perhaps a google search might turn it up. At the end of the day, its up to you what you click, but these safe browsing tools are designed to help you recognise good from evil.

Let us know how you get on.

Regards,
Golden

That's Norton Safe Web Lite :-)
Norton Safe Web, from Symantec - Safe Websites | Norton Safe Web Lite

And, as Golden said, such tools help you, but they do not make your decision for you.
