Clipboard clearing after changing selected window

Hi,

I have a user who is having an issue with their clipboard. It seems to be affecting both the Windows and Office clipboards. If they copy some text then they can paste in that window, they can also paste in the next selected window. However if they select a second window after that, regardless of if they have pasted or not, the clipboard gets emptied.

At first I just thought that they were cutting and pasting, but the selected text isn't being deleted, just the data in the clipboard.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

So it can be pasted in:

• Same window

Even multiple times?

• "next selected window". It works without issues, even multiple PASTEs?

What if you revert back to original window and paste?

He can paste in the same window, several times. If he selects window A and copies, selects window B, then selects window A again and he can't paste

Copy in window A. Paste a few times in same window. Select window B now and paste a few times. Works?

It doesn't matter what window A and B are? I mean you have the copy/paste problem in word, excel, internet explorer, notepad etcetera?
